Worship Service

The worship service at Cornerstone is what we call a blended service, both contemporary as well as traditional in music.  The worship service is led by a six member worship team who meet every Tuesday evening to put together the coming Sunday worship service.  The worship service usually lasts 40 minutes followed by Shepherd's prayer and the the message by the Pastor.  The total Sunday morning worship service lasts around 1 hour and 45 minutes.

 

Sunday evening services have been under the direction of Pastor Carpenter. The services focuses on prayer in the church. We have recently studied Jim Cymbala's video series, "When God's People Pray".  The evening service is a time of fellowship, discussion and prayer.  During the summer, we have "Picnic in the Park" in place of the Sunday evening service which is a time of fellowship at different parks in the Dover area. Sunday Evening Services are typically held every other Sunday evening.
