Salvation
Is it possible to be at peace with God?
Is it possible to be assured of an eternal home in Heaven?
Is it possible to find true peace in my life on a day to day basis?
Does God exist and if so, does He really care about me?
Down through the ages, these questions have been asked countless times by a myriad of people.
The answer to all of these questions is a resounding---YES!
You can have peace with God!
You can be assured of an eternal home in Heaven!
You can have true peace in your life!
God does exist and He does care about you!
Everything can be summed up in one statement---"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
God's "unconditional" love for us was manifested when Jesus Christ took the punishment and paid the penalty for our sin on the Cross of Calvary.
The Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:1 that "we are by nature dead in trespasses and sin" and "we are alienated from God". We are spiritually dead. Because of this, we need to be cleansed from sin and restored into fellowship with God. This is what Jesus Christ meant when He said, "You must be born again." John 3:7
By His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ paid the debt for our sins and enabled us to be reconciled with God and be restored into fellowship with Him.
Romans 3:23 tells us that we all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God and that's bad news. However, the good news is in Romans 6:23, where we see that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1John 5:11-12 shows us that whoever has the Son of God---Jesus Christ---has eternal life.
John 14:1-6 states that a Heavenly home is being prepared for us and that we will be there, with Him, throughout eternity.
If you want to have peace with God and a home in Heaven, simply bow your heart to God and ask Him to forgive you for the sin in your life and ask Jesus Christ to come into your life and be your Lord and Savior. Ask Him to cleanse you and restore your fellowship with God and receive God's gift of salvation and you will be "born again" into the family of God. As you take that step of faith, you will experience a joy that is only available from God and you will find true peace that will be yours everyday of your life.
Phillipians 4:6-7 tells us to "be anxious---or worried---for nothing, but in everything by prayer with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ." According to Hebrews 13:5---God says "He will never leave you nor forsake you." What a promise!
Please take that step of faith and talk to God. Ask Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior and see for yourself that God does exist and He truly cares about.
